At Symmetry Mental Health, we provide a range of comprehensive psychological assessments for children, teens and adults tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Our services for children and adolescents include Cognitive Assessments, Educational Assessments, Autism and ADHD Screening, and Comprehensive Neurodevelopmental Assessments. When your child is facing behavioural or psychological challenges and the reasons aren't clear, our comprehensive assessment can provide the answers you need. This in-depth evaluation combines multiple assessments to provide insights into your child's strengths and challenges exploring potential intellectual, learning, or neurodevelopmental difficulties. With detailed reporting, tailored insights and actionable recommendations you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of your child’s cognitive, educational, and social development. Additional Assessments
Our clinical psychologists are also here to support with other diagnostic assessments including gender affirmation/ transition assessments (WPATH assessments). Get in touch with us and let us know how we can support.
This is offered to people ages 17+ and could involve around six session with a trained psychologist and a report. These sessions are Medicare rebatable with a Mental Health Care Plan with a referal from a GP.
